A short two hours from budapest by train, along the scenic southern shore, lands you in the town of BALATONLELLE. International trains travelling to Lubjlana, Venice, Split, Rijeka, Zagreb and Vienna, stop only ten minutes from our hostel. Here, you can easily visit the whole lake by boat or train with exciting day trips. There is a frequent train line which goes around the lake, returning you safely to the hostel by nightfall. Balatonlelle has its own boat pier giving you the chance to visit the wonderful peninsula of tihany where you can see the oldest abbey of Hungary and experience the most amazing views of the water.
