"This hostel was fantastic. Peter and Arpard, the two guys who own it are so helpful and knowlegdable about their city which makes it really easy to see the things you actually want to. The hostel is set out in a funky apartment style, excellent fully equiped kitchen, brand new bathrooms and REALLY good linen and very comfortable beds. An excellent place to meet people and go out or equally good to just relax. It´s like being at home. Def 100% on location, you couldnt get more central. I´d go back in an instant"

"Can't say how much this hostel rocked. The owner rocked. One night he recommended all these bars to us and then came out with us, then the next day he had to go to a wedding, but we had three lovely ladies cook up a MOUNTAIN of pancakes with all these ovely toppings! Yay! On the more useful information, the beds are comfortable and clean, the showers are also great, very hot. free internet died a little, but was always fixed quickly. Kitchen was clean and big, and breakfast was standard euro fare, bread jam, cheese, coffee tea, all you could eat. All in all, I'd totally recommend this place."

"This hostel was awesome; it was clean (impeccably clean, since it's so new), It was decorated nicely, the staff was great and helpful, and it felt secure. the location was good, and the "quiet" policy -strictly enforced- was a welcome change for those like me, who like to wake up early for sightseeing. At the same time, the hostel was well set-up for socializing, and meeting people. All in all, it has all the qualities you are looking for in a great hostel... unless party hostel feeling is your absolute priority. (Although there is a nice patio for enjoying a beer, there is no bar). Definately would stay here again. Thanks Unity Hostel, for a great weekend!!"

They have everything from cling film and fruit tea in the kitchen to a roof terrace, breakfast, internet, stereo... the list goes on. Fantastic staff, friendly and helpful. Great environment, can cuddle up on the sofa with a blanket and coffee on mornings you are a little 'off' and then easily hit the sights later in the day, because the location is excellent. This place really allows the single traveller to meet others. the only odd thing was the "quiet policy". They really don't let you socialize after midnight int he common areas (it helps for those who wake up early for sightseeing). Totally recommend this place!! Enjoy"

"This was my second stay here in 2 Months. It is the ONLY place in Budapest I will stay, because there is no reason to go anywhere else. This hostel is warm, welcoming, and a GREAT place to base oneself for a perfect discovery of Budapest. What I like most about Unity, is the quite after 10pm rule. This allows a person to sleep soundly, however, the night I wanted to party, one of the staff members took a group of us to one of the coolest local Budapest bars I've ever been to.
